Administrative Assistant

Association Management Concepts’ Administrative Assistants (Admins) handle managing and distributing information within a portfolio of homeowners associations. This generally includes answering phones, taking memos and maintaining files. In general, they organize files, create correspondence, prepare reports and documents and offer general staff support.

This is a full-time, in-person position at our headquarters in Sacramento, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Handling office tasks, such as digitally and physically filing documents, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and recording supplies.

2. Screening phone calls, addressing concerns and routing callers to the appropriate party as needed.

3. Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.

4. Maintain polite and professional communication in person as well as via phone, e-mail and mail.

5. Anticipate the needs of managers and other staff in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.

6. Computer proficiency and excellent computer skills, especially typing (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook).

7. Possess honesty and personal integrity.

8. Passionate, intelligent, energetic, enthusiastic, personable, and friendly can-do attitude.

9. Strong desire to succeed and to contribute to a professional environment, showing the ability to work independently but also as part of a cooperative team.

10. Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills.
